When Sleep Isn't Enough

Eight hours of sleep and still exhausted. Does this happen to you? It's that kind of tiredness that coffee can't fix - the one that sits deeper than physical fatigue. I used to think I just needed more rest, more caffeine, more motivation.

But here's what I'm learning: sometimes exhaustion isn't just about sleep. Sometimes it's our soul telling us we need more than just physical rest. It might be asking for genuine connection, quiet moments, or permission to just... be.

Remember these words from Lamentations: "Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning." Sometimes, the rest we need comes from remembering His faithfulness never sleeps.

Today, I'm listening to what my tiredness is trying to tell me. Maybe you need to do the same.
