Strength in Surrender

We all carry burdens—some we talk about, and others we keep to ourselves.

Jesus’ words in Matthew 11:28-30: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

What a beautiful invitation to let go of the weight we’re not meant to bear. He doesn’t promise a life free of challenges, but He does promise rest for our souls when we come to Him.

Surrender doesn’t mean giving up; it means trusting God with what’s too heavy for us. When we lean into His gentle and humble heart, we find the strength to move forward. His yoke is easy, not because life is effortless, but because He carries it with us.
